We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to join an established groundworks contractor on a high-value, long-term groundworks project based in Bicester. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity for ongoing work across Oxfordshire & the Midlands upon successful completion of the initial project.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of a high-value groundworks package from site level through to completion
- Leading site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and senior management
- Overseeing quality control and compliance with specifications
- Managing RAMS, site documentation, and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within groundworks
- Strong background in commercial groundworks projects
- Experience delivering high-value schemes
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
