We support organisations across multiple sectors with commercially competitive and operationally robust IT services. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our commercial team to strengthen client engagement and account development.
We are seeking a commercially confident Sales Account Manager with experience in an IT reseller, MSP, distributor or vendor environment. This is a dual role combining account management and sales operations. You will manage a portfolio of warm and transactional client accounts while overseeing quoting, order coordination and commercial administration. This role is commercially involved but not heavily target-driven, ideal for someone confident with clients who also understands operational delivery.
Account Management- Manage a portfolio of warm and transactional client accounts
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact
- Respond to customer queries regarding pricing, delivery timelines and product specifications
- Maintain CRM pipeline updates and account records
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Assist with bid documentation and commercial responses
- Support senior sales team in client meetings where required
- Monitor margin levels and flag pricing discrepancies
- Prepare accurate IT hardware quotes
- Liaise with suppliers for pricing and availability
- Ensure correct product specification and compatibility
- Manage orders from approval through to delivery
- Raise purchase orders and support invoicing processes
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth fulfilment
- Experience within an IT reseller, MSP, distributor or vendor environment
- Previous experience in account management, internal sales or sales operations
- Strong understanding of IT hardware (laptops, servers, networking, peripherals)
- Experience preparing quotes and managing orders end-to-end
- Experience using CRM systems
