  • Project Management: Manage projects independently and support larger or more complex accounts as needed. Ensure projects run according to established timelines, budgets, scope, and deliverables.
  • Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and reconcile project and account budgets; manage out‑of‑scope activities; support forecasts and invoicing; and recommend corrective actions as appropriate. Respond to client requests for budget estimates and support proposal development or contractual processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary client contact, maintaining regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Lead or support client and internal status meetings, provide timely updates, and proactively flag risks, issues, or decisions required.
  • Timeline, Resource, & Capacity Management: Drive project timelines and schedules, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure milestones are met. Balance workload and capacity across teams to ensure projects are appropriately staffed.
  • Cross‑Functional & External Collaboration: Work closely with business development, legal, finance, and Medical Communications teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment on objectives. Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as required.
  • Quality, Risk, & Issue Management: Oversee quality review processes, including scheduling and managing review cycles, to ensure deliverables meet internal and client quality standards. Identify project risks related to scope, timelines, or budget and develop mitigation strategies, support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement & Team Support: Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools. Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Business Development Support: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and support new business development efforts, including proposal preparation and participation in pitches.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain project status reports, contact reports, tracking tools, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders. Support project review and reporting processes through accurate data compilation and analysis.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and budgeting project activities and resources.
  • Demonstrated experience developing project timelines, workplans, tracking tools, spreadsheets, and other project planning materials using tools such as Excel or Smartsheet.

  • Experience working on scientific or research‑based projects, preferably within health‑related fields.
  • Experience working with confidential information and adhering to data protection and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP or equivalent).
  • Advanced degree in business (e.g. MBA), economics, or health‑related fields (e.g. MPH).
  • Experience with Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) is desirable.
  • Experience or familiarity with health economics, outcomes research, market access, AMCP dossiers, economic modeling, programming, systematic and non‑systematic literature reviews, epidemiology, and/or patient‑reported outcomes.
