R13 Recruitment are supporting a highly reputable organisation operating within the housing sector, leading their search for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their busy team. This role will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, receiving customer communications, coordinating and planning contractor teams and assuring swift solutions to customer issues, optimising the customer experience and journey.

Working hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week, onsite full time at the modern offices on the outskirts of Norwich (with ample free parking). Salary Β£28,000 - Β£30,000 + quarterly bonus potential.

The Day to Day:

  • Managing a portfolio of properties, handling incoming enquiries/complaints from customers.
  • Gathering information associated with the nature of the complaint, assuring optimal information gained from the outset.
  • Setting up and managing the customer log, keeping information updated on in-house system.
  • Requesting additional information from customers (photos/videos etc.) in relation to issues.
  • Allocation and planning of works to in-house and sub-contracting teams on a triage basis.
  • Receiving updates from teams and relaying back to the customer.
  • Ongoing review of remedial works against designated timeframes, assuring resolutions are provided as quickly as possible.
  • Working to achieve/reviewing timeframes to ensure issues are resolved in line with objectives.

  • Exposure within the housing/property/maintenance sector is required, within a customer-orientated role.
  • Dedication to the delivery of customer service excellence.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complaint handling experience.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage personal workload autonomously.
  • Effective internal and external relationship management skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exposure to the planning of works would be desirable.
