Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP - Hip & Knee Surgery
Location: Private hospital - Bath
Contract: Temporary / Agency Shifts
RTC Resources is recruiting experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurses and ODPs to support hip and knee surgery lists at a private hospital in Bath.
We are looking for confident scrub practitioners with recent experience in major lower-limb orthopaedics, particularly total hip and knee replacements.
The role
- Prepare the theatre, instruments and equipment for orthopaedic procedures.
- Provide skilled scrub support during hip and knee replacement surgery.
- Anticipate surgical requirements and handle instruments and implants safely.
- Maintain the sterile field and complete surgical counts and documentation.
- Work closely with the theatre team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as a nurse or HCPC registration as an ODP.
- Recent scrub experience in hip and knee replacement surgery.
- Good knowledge of orthopaedic instruments and implant systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Right to work in the UK and satisfactory recruitment compliance checks.
