Are you thinking about a career in Recruitment? Has the high-earning opportunities or fast career progression attracted you to this career path?
Why Recruitment?
- Good Recruiters can earn over £100,000 (In some cases, over £200k!)
- Fast progression – Opportunities to lead teams can be available 2/3 years after graduating
- International opportunities – Many Recruitment businesses are looking to globalise, so they will offer international opportunities for employees in the future!
TRM is currently partnering with one of London’s fastest-growing renewable energy recruitment businesses, and it is actively seeking two graduates to join its team in January.
The Business
- Launched by one of the highest-billed renewable energy recruiters in the UK, it billed well over £1 million alongside two other top billers in the industry.
- 8 people currently plan to be 30 by the end of 2025, which will all be organic (entry-level) hires.
- The long-term plan is to be the number one Energy recruitment company in terms of fees, headcount, and profit.
- There is no ego in a mega down-to-earth culture, and everyone gets on well.
Earning
- It is one of, if not the best, recruitment markets. Renewable energy is driven by consumer, business, and government demand and won’t be exposed to the same cycles as most markets.
- Evidence: Placement 1, which we placed in March 2024, will earn £45,000 in year one. Placement 2 in April will earn £50,000 in year one.
Progression
- This is the classic “box room to skyscraper journey.” The company will grow monthly (they have already moved offices thrice!).
- Get in early on their mission to be number one. They are looking to win places on the Virgin Fast Track and FT fastest-growing companies; you could play a significant role in this.
- Leadership opportunities by year 2 and director by year 5, so a real chance for a “seat at the table” early in your career.
- Shares are available for high performers (for free), so you can effectively become a business owner here.
- International/office launch opportunities in Europe/US.
What’s Required
- This is a tough job. While there is a significant upside, there will also be a big-time commitment regarding hours.
- The standards are high, and a growth mindset is necessary, as you will need to develop much quicker here than most firms.
