You will be at the forefront, forging partnerships that redefine how leading retailers engage their customers.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your main objective will be to identify and engage with decision-makers within our target accounts, arrange introductory meetings, and work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Directors to transition qualified leads. You will employ targeted outreach methods and strategic networking at industry conferences to connect with potential clients. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced BDR skilled in research, outreach tools, and building initial connections with key individuals.
You Will:
- Execute a comprehensive outbound strategy using cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling to engage decision-makers within defined target accounts, focusing on mid-market and enterprise segments.
- Research and profile key contacts at target companies, establish initial connections and arrange introductory meetings.
- Attend relevant industry conferences to network with potential clients, identify leads, and arrange follow-up meetings with decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Sales Directors, sharing lead insights and facilitating effective hand-offs for ongoing engagement.
- Utilise CRM systems and outreach automation tools to manage data accurately and track interactions.
- Craft tailored messaging and outreach materials, aligning with specific business needs and the market context of potential clients, particularly digital-native organisations.
Desired Experience:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or similar outbound-focused role.
- Strong skills in research and prospect profiling, supporting targeted outreach efforts.
- Experience working with digital-native companies.
- Familiarity with the digital marketing sector is a plus.
- Experience targeting mid-market and enterprise companies, with knowledge and understanding of the UKI market and its business environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and outbound automation tools.
- Excellent networking abilities, and a proactive approach to conference participation and building new connections.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales.
