Role Overview
As a Trainee Accountant, you will assist with financial reporting, tax preparation, and bookkeeping, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world accounting practices. You will work closely with senior accountants and receive structured training to support your career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Supporting VAT returns, tax calculations, and compliance processes
- Conducting bank reconciliations and assisting with bookkeeping duties
- Preparing and processing invoices, expenses, and payments
- Assisting with audits and gathering supporting financial documentation
- Liaising with clients and responding to queries in a professional manner
- Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end reporting
