As a result of continued success, we are expanding our society of consultants to fulfil current and future demands from our defence portfolio, particularly one of the largest Defence frameworks within the UK which we have proudly been supporting for over 5 years.
Our consultants are deployed into large scale Programmes/Projects to bring expert knowledge to drive sustainable and long-term change and add value to each project/programme.
We are looking for Supply Chain Managers with the following experience:
- Developing Demand and Supply Plans to deliver the required levels of service and optimise inventory within their area of responsibility.
- Leading a team to deliver the required service levels, monitoring performance against plan, providing effective management and oversight, and taking corrective action as required.
- Contributing to Inventory optimisation initiatives recognising the need to seek and deliver Continuous Improvement wherever possible.
- Making purchasing/repair/disposal decisions in accordance with their level of financial delegation.
- Monitoring all aspects of SCM performance, identify opportunities for improvement and initiate corrective action where necessary.
- Achievement of mandated internal SCM Qualification currently SCM Level 3 Skills Certificate Expert.
- Significant experience of working at an operational level in a large, highly complex organisation within a range of SCM disciplines.
- Working within a secure environment, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our society's success. You must hold current and active Security Clearance, ensuring it is up to date and has been utilised within the past 12 months to meet the urgent needs of this programme.
