Leading Complex Infrastructure Delivery for a Local Authority Client

RT Consulting continues to expand its footprint across major UK transport and infrastructure programmes. We are seeking a Principal Project Manager with the capability to operate in a consulting capacity, shaping and driving the delivery of a critical Traction Power work package within a large-scale Mass Transit renewal programme.

This opportunity sits at the intersection of programme leadership, strategic advisory, and complex engineering oversight. The sponsoring Authority has refined its requirements: they now require an individual with strong project management and governance capability, able to guide multi-disciplinary teams and bring clarity, structure and momentum to a technically diverse programme.

Engagement Model

• Day-rate contract through RT Consulting, representing our consulting delivery into the Local Authority
• Engagement runs until March 2026 with scope for extension/perm
• Hybrid delivery – x3 days per week on site – Sheffield
• Competitive day rate
• 3 Month initial contract with potential for extension/perm
