Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the power control team, ensuring adherence to QHSE standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in operating our Generation Assets, gaining and holding specialist technical knowledge, and ensuring the safe execution of power control operations.

You’ll be part of Power Control where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the highest standards of safety and performance in power control operations.
As a team, we foster a proactive safety-first culture and collaborate effectively to achieve our operational goals.
You’ll play an important role in:
- safely operating all of our offshore wind generation assets, adhering to QHSE standards and contractual/regulatory requirements
- ensuring execution of control point tasks including wind turbine generator and windfarm control, power regulation, alarm handling and regulatory reporting
- supporting our HV execution teams by providing HV Control support (training and authorisation will be provided)
- manage customer and regulatory queries, ensuring they are answered within operational timescales
- gain and utilise specialist technical knowledge across regions and platforms to perform your operational tasks.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have experience in, or knowledge of power generation
- have an electrical background, for example, as an electrician/electrical engineer
- have experience operating SCADA applications and using control systems
- have knowledge of REMIT and Grid Code regulations
- have knowledge of control point services, alarm handling processes, and electrical safety rules
- possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in spoken and written English
