Reporting and culture

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will join a well-established organisation where your HR expertise will be valued, and your ideas welcomed. As a HR Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for all things HR, supporting managers and employees alike.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Supporting employee relations matters including investigations and hearings
  • Advising managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Managing absence, attendance, and probation reviews
  • Conducting exit interviews and supporting retention strategies
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a HR Officer, HR Assistant, or HR Administrator role
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it (advantageous)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment (advantageous)
