We’re recruiting a Setting Out Engineer to support delivery across major infrastructure and rail projects, including HS2-related works. This is a hands-on, site-based engineering role, focused on setting out, surveying, and ensuring construction is delivered accurately and to specification. What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting out works in line with drawings and specifications
  • Establishing and maintaining survey control and site benchmarks
  • Carrying out engineering and as-built surveys
  • Verifying dimensions and ensuring compliance with tolerances
  • Supporting site teams with technical guidance
  • Maintaining accurate engineering and quality records

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of surveying, setting out, and dimensional control
  • Experience using Total Stations, GPS, and survey equipment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • HS2 or major infrastructure experience desirable
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying
  • CSCS Professionally Qualified Person Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
