RSPCA Assured is celebrating 30 years of improving the lives of farmed animals. In that time, we are proud to have worked with thousands of farmers and all of the UK’s biggest supermarkets to help make the lives of millions of animals better. Every year, we inspect almost 4,000 farms and other scheme members to ensure they meet strict RSPCA animal welfare standards, ensuring a better life for farm animals. Our vision is a world where all farmed animals are respected and treated with kindness and compassion.
We are looking for a new team member as Membership Services Account Advisor who will be responsible and accountable for an allocation of members, ensuring they receive the best member experience and support throughout their time with us. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance and quality procedures are followed.
Working hours: 35 hours / Mon - Friday. 12 Month fixed term contract. Hybrid role: Your base will be at our South East Hub in Horsham, West Sussex. We expect you’ll need to be in the office for commercial meetings and occasional onsite meetings. Our teams stay connected through regular check-ins and meetings, and colleagues are always on hand to chat. It’s important to us that you feel part of our supportive team from the beginning.

Here at RSPCA Assured, we know it’s a cliché but no two days are the same. Join Our Team – Membership Services Account Advisor. You will be the first point of contact for our members, delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll manage a portfolio of producers and packers, guiding them through applications, assessments, compliance checks, renewals, and more—ensuring compliance with RSPCA Assured standards, UKAS, and ISO 17065.
You’ll also liaise with internal teams, certification bodies, and government organisations to support our members every step of the way.
- Being the first point of contact for an allocation of RSPCA Assured members.
- To deliver world leading customer service to RSPCA Assured members.
- Managing and delivering the lifetime journey for RSPCA Assured members including applications, renewals and a wide variety of other membership processes.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across RSPCA Assured and RSPCA to inform, manage and facilitate compliance and outstanding customer service to our members.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to deliver outstanding member experience.
- Ability to deliver within set processes and service level agreements.
- Ability to use your own initiative and problem solve.
- Competent user of database applications, ideally Salesforce.
- Learns new methods, tools and technologies and applies them to work.
- Achieves results at pace with energy and drive, takes accountability and always delivers on what has been promised.
- Has a clear understanding of when to act independently and when to escalate.
- Able to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm in a busy environment.
- Friendly ‘can do’ attitude and a pleasant and confident telephone manner.
- Educated to A level or equivalent.
- Previous experience of working with detailed/complex documentation procedures.
- Competent knowledge of invoice production.
