We are looking for a new team member to join us as a National Facilities Manager. The role reports to the Head of Facilities and is full‑time (35 hrs per week).

Location & Travel

The position is based primarily in South England and Wales, with required visits to the South East Hub (Horsham) and the London Hub, as well as national animal and wildlife centres and hospitals. The candidate must have access to their own transport, a UK driving licence, and business‑cover car insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, and coach facilities staff across multiple sites.
  • Oversee and support the use of CAFM systems and digitalised task management.
  • Specify, tender, and manage contracts for facilities services.
  • Ensure compliance with RSPCA values and safety standards.
  • Attend site visits and coordinate with national facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant experience in facilities management.
  • Membership of the IWFM Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, or similar recognised facilities management accreditation organisation.
  • Training and progression with the IWFM or similar.
  • Specific or transferable training, skills and qualifications enabling the role.
  • Experience of managing, training and coaching others, working both collaboratively and independently.
  • Experience of specifying, tendering and contract management of facilities services contracts.
  • Demonstrated alignment with RSPCA values.
