Summary: The Trainer/Tester is responsible for delivering industry-leading training and assessments that ensure participants gain practical skills and technical knowledge to operate equipment safely and competently.
This role involves training development, adapting delivery styles to candidate needs, conducting assessments, and supporting the RSP-UK’s training centre's wider remit, including operational support, exhibitions, and brand promotion.
- Standard Duties/ Responsibilities: Training Delivery
- Deliver engaging, practical training sessions using approved materials and methodologies.
- Ensure candidates understand the material and feel confident operating the relevant equipment.
- Adapt content and teaching style to suit different learning levels and preferences.
- Provide clear joining instructions and ensure refreshments and lunch are arranged for training days.
- Uphold and exceed safety, compliance, and audit-readiness standards.
- Assessment
- Conduct on-site and remote candidate assessments to ensure competence.
- Record outcomes accurately and ensure all supporting evidence is filed appropriately.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners and report to the Training Manager/Coordinator.
