RSM’s national Technology & Cyber Risk Assurance (TRA) practice provides assurance, advice, and solutions to help clients manage digital risks confidently. Our local client portfolio includes prestigious organizations across sectors such as Not-for-Profit (healthcare, charities, social housing, education, government), financial services (Fintech, insurance, building societies), and corporates (technology, manufacturing, automotive).
As a Principal Consultant specializing in IT Audit within Technology Risk Assurance, you will assist in managing the TRA client portfolio alongside Partners and Directors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assignments, including IT assurance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading teams to help clients manage IT controls and risks, primarily within the Not-for-Profit sector.
- Managing an agreed client portfolio and performing complex TRA assignments.
- Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, managing resources, and recruitment.
- Ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget, resolving issues as needed.
- Building and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
What we are looking for:
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Experience in portfolio management within a professional services IT audit role.
- Advanced experience in IT Audit.
- Leadership skills in managing and coaching teams.
- Proficiency with IT tools like Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook.
- Strong technical knowledge of internal audit processes and sector-specific issues.
- Experience with Not-for-Profit sectors such as NHS, Education, Charities, or Central Government is advantageous but not essential.
