We are searching for an experienced Senior/Principal Consultant.

Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team plays a major role in driving the growth of the firm, with over 1,700 people delivering nearly £200m revenue.

At the core of Consulting are six solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions enable us to tailor our approach to support clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our staff to make an impact and develop their careers.

Overall job purpose

Assist in managing the Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) client portfolio alongside Partners/Directors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of assignments at clients’ sites, with a specialization in Cyber Security clients.

Responsibilities

  • Control and manage the delivery of assignments (specializing in Cyber Security clients), ensuring completion within time and budget, and providing solutions for issues as appropriate to the Director/Partner.
  • Lead TRA teams and individuals to ensure effective delivery of TRA services.
  • Manage an agreed client portfolio within the regional area.
  • Perform more complex TRA assignments.
  • Represent the Firm in TRA matters, including attending client meetings and audit committees.
  • Draft proposals or assist in preparing tenders and present these as part of business development efforts.
  • Build relationships with clients and identify or act upon additional work opportunities with existing or potential clients.

Essential

  • Professionally qualified CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience supporting Not for Profit & Financial Services clients with Cyber Security Internal Audits.
  • Relevant experience in higher-level IT Audit.
  • Experience auditing active directory and cloud security environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing teams and coaching junior members.
  • Proficient in IT tools including Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and sector issues.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
