We are searching for an experienced Risk and Compliance Assistant Manager.

With a new advisory service offering for our corporate sector (with the exception of financial services) in relation to risk, compliance and regulation, we are looking for an Assistant to join our team. The postholder will be an enthusiastic team player, with an interest in legal compliance, to join our team. This is a brand-new role reporting to the Partner leading the service offering. You will have direct client contact, be involved in delivering projects, bid for new work and support the development of thought pieces.
The role will provide you with variety as well as an opportunity to continue to learn, develop and progress. If you are pragmatic and practical, with a keen eye for detail, and enjoy building relationships with clients, then this role could be a good fit.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Delivering projects to a high standard, within time and budget.
- Defining compliance requirements, documenting process flows, controls and identifying gaps within the process.
- Providing insightful, pragmatic and risk-based recommendations to our clients.
- Managing and developing relationships across new and existing clients and also within the firm. This will include attending and presenting at client meetings as well as networking events where appropriate.
- Supporting the Partners / Directors in key business development activities for new work including targeting, writing proposals, presentations and thought leadership.
- Staying up to date with the developments in relation to compliance, enterprise risk management and regulation.

- A relevant degree, legal, accounting, internal audit or equivalent compliance or risk management certification.
- Significant experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit either in house or in practice.
- Excellent written skills with strong levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the firm as well as building excellent working relationships with clients.
- A collaborative approach with strong team working abilities, with excellent pragmatic problem-solving skills.
