We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory Associate – MVL. Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Overall job purpose
An exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of commercial skills and experience across advisory and formal Members Voluntary Liquidation assignments with the Restructuring National Members Voluntary Liquidation team.
You will assist in the delivery of orderly wind downs, corporate reorganisations, and work on members voluntary liquidation appointments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring quality service to clients and other interested parties.
Responsibilities
- Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, confirming arrangements with clients, including costs and billing.
- Work closely with team members to plan and execute assignments, potentially managing cases, and providing training and support within the team.
- Progress Members Voluntary Liquidation from start to finish, assist with engagement letters, and ensure KPI completion for approval.
- Input data into internal systems, handle case administration, and ensure timely billing.
- Develop skills in Members Voluntary Liquidation, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Handle pre-appointment matters, attend meetings, analyze information, and advise clients on wind down scenarios.
- Assist with client onboarding procedures, monitor project profitability, and contribute to marketing activities.
- Attend meetings and training, observe health and safety policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
Personal and professional qualities
- Previous client handling experience.
- Experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency is preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- High-quality delivery commitment and interest in promoting the service line.
