Are you ready for an opportunity that blends personal development and real-world experience? Join our eight-week paid internship programme starting on Monday 15th June 2026, where you’ll be immersed into our Audit team based in our Milton Keynes office.
Our Audit team carries out a detailed, risk-based review of a company’s financial records, processes and controls to form an opinion on whether the financial statements prepared by the directors are true and fair. An effective audit isn’t just about numbers; it’s about making businesses stronger. By digging deep into how a company operates, audits help improve processes and ensure everything runs smoothly. Why does this matter? Because financial statements are one of the few documents the public sees, and a high-quality audit gives everyone, from investors to employees, confidence that the information is accurate and trustworthy.
You’ll experience work and life at RSM, and collaborate with our current students and experienced team members on client projects. Our clients range from owner managed businesses, through to large listed groups, charities, pension schemes and non-for profit organisations. It is important for our people to have experience across a range of industries and sectors. Make an impact and you could fast track your offer to join our graduate programme.
During our eight-week programme, you’ll:
- Work in a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and learning
- Receive training on building relationships and resilience
- Enhance your presentation and communication skills
- Build a strong professional network of contacts and get advice from our expert mentors
- Learn from our leaders who have carved inspirational careers and continue to make an impact
What we are looking for:
We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Be in your penultimate year of university
- Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) and a predicted honours degree
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial to convey information clearly and concisely for successful collaboration with team members and clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, which enable you to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues and clients and remain calm under pressure.
- An interest in business and commerce with the ability to demonstrate a commercial outlook through organisational and time management skills.
The start date for this role is Monday 15th June 2026. Please note, our start dates are mandatory due to the training you receive during your time with us. Following changes to government policy in April 2024, we only accept applications from individuals with an existing, permanent, right to live and work in the UK.
