RSM Corporate Finance is currently seeking dynamic and motivated Manager to work in the Debt Advisory team.
The secondment would suit candidates within Corporate Finance who are seeking a fresh challenge and an opportunity to broaden their expertise within consulting. Candidates with strong, relevant skill sets will also be considered.
RSM\’s Debt Advisory team provides bespoke advice to high-quality businesses on the appropriate funding structure for their transaction, be that senior, subordinated or mezzanine debt or venture or private equity funds.
Alternative finance providers and debt funds have filled the funding gap since the economic crisis, increasing their market share. This shift has led to a more diverse lending environment, and borrower terms have improved as banks compete. The improved terms include reduced pricing, looser covenant structures, increased leverage and lower amortisation.
RSM Debt Advisory help navigate this dynamic market, identifying which lenders are open for business and in which sectors. Our relationship with over 150 lenders delivers access to funding that others may not have, helping to find the right funding partner as well as the best terms.
You\’ll make an impact by:
- Analysing operational and financial performance alongside knowledge of market appetite and sentiments to determine the debt capacity of a business and the appropriate debt instruments to be explored
- Assisting in preparing high-quality marketing materials, including IMs and teasers, to support debt-focussed transactions
- Working closely with senior personnel and other stakeholders, ensure effective communication throughout engagements
- Having assisted in review of financial models and overlay of appropriate debt structures for use in transactions and strategic evaluations
