You’ll work at the intersection of advanced technology and data-led insight, building tools and solutions that improve quality and deliver real insight for our clients.
From day one, you’ll collaborate with industry experts, develop both technical and commercial skills, and contribute to impactful projects that are shaping the future of audit.
You’ll make an impact by
- Helping to design, build and maintain in-house applications used by audit teams across RSM UK.
- Turning audit requirements into practical app features that are simple, reliable and easy to use.
- Supporting the development and testing of tools that standardise audit procedures and improve consistency.
- Working with developers, data specialists and audit stakeholders to refine products before release.
- Helping monitor app performance, user feedback and adoption so tools continue to meet audit team needs.
- Building your understanding of finance, accounting and audit as you study towards the CFAB qualification.
You’ll mostly be based in the office or at a client site - giving you chance to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients while getting the support you need in the early stages of your career.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for people who are ambitious, curious and ready to get involved. Here's what you'll need:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
- An existing, permanent, right to live and work in the UK for this role.
- A genuine interest in technology and data analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.
- Close attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to adapt to change and embrace continuous learning.
- A background in maths, computer science, economics, finance or a related field would be useful but isn't essential.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, SQL or Python would be useful but isn't essential.
