We are searching for an experienced Finance Transformation Manager.
At RSM, our consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver our six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk management. Our solutions address the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities our clients face as they strive to achieve their aspirations and organisational goals. Whether supporting global expansion, developing acquisition strategies, facilitating private equity investments, or collaborating with boards to manage risk management, our consulting experts work as one cohesive team. We prioritize simplicity, providing data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to empower our clients in building sustainable, future-fit businesses.
It’s an exciting time to join our consulting team, as we embark on ambitious growth plans that promise to create diverse career opportunities. We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships.
Our Business Transformation team is one of six core solution sets within Consulting, designed to help businesses transform by improving their operations and supporting them to overcome performance challenges that lead to lasting growth and adaptability (across strategy, technology, finance, innovation, and people). We are guided by good practice principles and the latest technologies, but never constrained by them. At our core, we are critical-thinkers, problem-solvers, and visionaries.
The Finance Transformation team sits within our growing Business Transformation Consulting practice, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join us. Over recent years, the work of traditional back-office functions like Finance has changed significantly, along with how this work is delivered. CFOs face increasing complexity and an ever-changing business environment. They are tasked with driving enterprise performance, participating in strategic growth, and running an effective and efficient finance function. This has accelerated how Finance operates, necessitating more agile, streamlined, and efficient processes to deliver accurate, reliable, and insightful financial information. Many CFOs are struggling to navigate these changes. At RSM, we partner with CFOs to design and implement future-ready Finance operating models. We take the time to understand our clients' business, vision, and needs, and evaluate pragmatic solutions that elevate their teams, enhance effectiveness, and modernize their digital footprint.
You will make an impact by:
- Working closely with clients to establish trust and credibility quickly, building effective relationships.
- Being a team player with a 'can do' attitude, understanding that the best solutions come from collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
- Being a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter, organized, proactive, and inquisitive.
- Contributing to client proposals and presentations, being seen as a trusted advisor in identifying, analyzing, and solving business challenges.
What we are looking for:
Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can spot inefficiencies and are passionate about making improvements, this role is perfect for you! We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for:

- Strong academic record, preferably with a relevant degree (finance, accounting, business management, or data analytics)
- Proven experience in finance transformation projects, including process redesign, system implementation, and operating model development
- Experience in designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models, including organizational design, service delivery models, and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of finance processes and what constitutes 'good' across FP&A, R2R, P2P, and O2C

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive change in complex environments
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering initiatives on time and within budget
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and influencing at all levels
