Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client‑centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.

As part of the RSM Corporate Finance Faculty’s growth objectives, we are looking for an Associate Director to join the team. We are looking to strengthen the Corporate Finance team and grow the execution and origination capabilities and as such this role will be key in achieving our ambitions.

You will make an impact by:

  • Leading engagement processes from start to finish.
  • Leading deal teams and supporting with local team management.
  • Liaising with clients, target businesses and other professional advisors during execution of transactions.
  • Overseeing the production of deal documentation including IMs, Teasers, Buyer Research packs etc.
  • Researching, preparing and supporting presentations / sales pitches for new business.
  • Relationship building with potential clients and intermediaries (private equity houses, banks and corporates).
  • Leading origination capabilities.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.
  • M&A experience in the order of 3-5 years PQE.
  • A track record of working on buy‑side and sell‑side, as well as finance raising.
  • Strong numerical, financial and modelling skills based on a well‑developed understanding of financial statements.
