We are searching for an experienced Early Careers Senior Specialist - Selection (9-12-month FTC). The RSM Early Careers Talent Acquisition team is responsible for hiring approximately 750 students annually onto our graduate, school leaver and placement programmes. In addition, we offer a variety of work experiences such as work shadowing and internships. The Early Careers Talent Acquisition team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the firm is attracting and selecting high quality, diverse candidates in line with our ‘Grow our Own’ initiative. Our goal is to provide a seamless efficient experience to both candidates applying for our programmes and our internal stakeholders at every stage of the recruitment journey.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced early careers recruiter to join our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team as an Early Careers Senior Specialist on a 9 – 12 month FTC basis. Leading a small team of Early Careers specialist(s) and/or Coordinator(s), you will manage the delivery of the end-to-end early careers recruitment process supporting the hiring needs for one of our key service lines nationally. You will work with a wide range of key internal stakeholders to deliver the RSM early careers recruitment strategy, ensuring an excellent experience to all involved within the hiring process including internal stakeholders and external applicants.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and dynamic early careers team to support delivery of the early careers hiring strategy. Due to the location of existing team members and business needs, this role can be based in one of the following RSM offices: Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester. You will be required to travel to other national RSM offices and attend external events (including occasional evening events) as part of this role throughout the year.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Delivering the end-to-end early careers recruitment process for one of our service lines nationally, including forecasting, high volume candidate pipeline management, planning and facilitating virtual assessment centres, final stage interviews, lead assessor debriefs and manage the offer process.
  • Proactively leading a small team, made up of TA Specialist(s) and/or Co-ordinator(s) to ensure an efficient high-quality service is delivered to both applicants and stakeholders.
  • Effective and accurate management of candidate pipelines throughout the recruitment process to ensure vacancies are filled promptly, reporting to the Early Careers Management team and other stakeholders as required.
  • Partnering effectively with service line stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and provide them with timely updates on the status of their early careers hiring and the support you require from them throughout the recruitment campaign.
  • Proactively identifying struggling pipelines and liaising with the Early Careers Attraction & Outreach team to agree priorities and strategic attraction activities, involving hiring managers and partners as required and attending events to support and actively promote our employer brand.
