Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Audit Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to ensure controls are effective, compliance with regulations, and internal procedures. The department reviews completed engagements, provides feedback, and drives continuous improvement in audit quality.
We are looking for a candidate who can be based out of any regional office, with a flexible hybrid-working model and occasional travel within the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing audit assurance reviews focused on large corporate and listed entities
- Supporting other QA reviewers and managers
- Conducting QA reviews to provide assurance to the audit business
- Providing feedback to promote continuous improvement
- Collaborating to improve department effectiveness
Ideal candidate:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience with large corporate and listed audits in an Audit Manager role
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
