Start your career journey with our audit work experience programme. Join our paid two-day in-person Year 12/13 Audit Experience Programme on Tuesday 27th October 2026 where you’ll be immersed into our Audit team.
Have you ever wanted to get a real insight into audit? Think of our Audit team as financial detectives. We dig deep into a company’s numbers, processes, and controls to make sure everything adds up and the financial statements tell the real story. Our job is to give confidence that the information shared with the public is accurate and fair. But it’s not just about ticking boxes. A strong audit challenges how a business operates and helps make it better from the inside out. In today’s world, where financial statements are one of the few things a company shares publicly, a quality audit builds trust in what is delivered to all stakeholders.
You’ll team up with driven students who are already working on meaningful client projects while earning their qualifications, and you’ll learn directly from experienced professionals who are ready to help shape your future.
During our two-day programme, you will:
- Attend insight sessions across audit and find out more about working at RSM
- Participate in group work developing your skills such as communication and teamwork
- Engage in networking, personal branding, wellbeing, and employability sessions
- Hear from our current students and learn about their career journeys so far
At the end of your programme, you’ll receive a certificate of achievement to recognise the skills you have developed during your time with us. After the programme, you could also have the opportunity to fast track your application for a 2027 Audit apprenticeship opportunity at RSM.
What we are looking for: Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people? If that sounds like you and you are looking to learn more about working in audit, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We value diverse experiences and perspectives. To be eligible, you’ll need to:
- Be in Year 12/13 - S5/S6
- Be predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification.
No prior Audit experience required just an enthusiasm for learning new skills and expanding your knowledge. Please note - although this role requires 112 UCAS points (predicted). We are aware that you may have not obtained your predicted grades yet, if that is the case, please state 112 UCAS points in your application and complete the education section as best you can. The start date for our two-day work experience programme is Tuesday 27th October 2026. Successful candidates must be available for the full duration of the programme.
