Our Finance Function Support team is a fast-growing national service line, dedicated to helping private businesses across the UK manage their finance operations more effectively. As part of this team, you’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking group that supports clients with their day-to-day finance needs, compliance, and strategic growth.

In your role as Supervisor, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Southern region’s portfolio of SME corporate clients. You’ll oversee and assist junior team members, ensuring high-quality delivery across annual compliance work, client relationship management, and practical problem-solving. This includes applying accounting standards under FRS 102 and FRS 105 across a wide range of industries and specialist sectors.

With the department experiencing rapid growth, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your skill set—particularly in coaching junior staff and contributing to client development. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across different service lines and offices throughout the UK, while supporting your local office. A strong understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles is essential for success in this role.

  • Supervise and coach junior team members in preparing financial statements compliant with FRS 102, FRS 105, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Deliver excellent client service while building strong, trusted relationships across a diverse portfolio.
  • Take the lead on assignments when required, ensuring work is delivered effectively and within agreed budgets.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to managers or partners, offering practical solutions where possible.

  • Proven experience supervising junior staff and working directly with clients
  • Confident communicator with solid project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
