Our TDRS team works with private clients, companies, family businesses, owner‑managed businesses and partnerships in managing their relationships with HMRC. This entails advising on HMRC enquiries, disclosures, time to pay and proactively managing their risk with HMRC. We work closely with colleagues across the firm to provide a joined‑up service to RSM’s clients.
As a Manager within the TDRS (Tax Dispute Resolution Services) in London, you will manage and deliver thorough and high‑quality advice to a range of clients. This includes managing and developing more junior members of the team whilst reviewing their work. You will work with the partners and other colleagues on a variety of engagements which will involve advising on HMRC’s compliance powers and the successful management and resolution of HMRC enquiries.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting AD’s and partners on negotiations and the relationship with HMRC for a range of varied clients.
- Being responsible for deliverables and driving TDRS projects.
- Playing an active role in developing the junior members of the team.
- Building relationships with all other departments to ensure all potential TDRS client needs are identified and serviced.
- Briefing junior staff on the client’s business and the pre‑assignment instructions; supervising and controlling the completion of work; and undertaking ‘on the job’ training where necessary.

- Experience managing a range of TDRS projects whilst being confident at developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
- An interest in mentoring and developing junior members of staff.
