Our Private Client Team works with individuals, trustees, partnerships, sole traders, and family businesses in managing their tax affairs, both on the compliance side and in relation to additional advisory matters. We work closely with colleagues across the firm to provide a joined-up service to owner-managed businesses and family offices, combining expertise in accounting, audit, and all relevant taxes.
As an Assistant Manager within the Private Client Tax team in London, you will manage and deliver a thorough and high-quality tax compliance and advisory service to a range of clients. This includes managing and developing more junior members of the team while reviewing their work. You will collaborate with the partner and other colleagues on planning projects and technical assignments and participate in business development opportunities.
You will make an impact by:
- Managing the tax compliance process for a diverse range of clients.
- Leading and delivering specialist technical assignments.
- Collaborating with partners and directors to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Building relationships with other departments to identify and service potential client needs.
- Briefing junior staff on client business and pre-assignment instructions; supervising work; and providing on-the-job training where necessary.
