RSM UK is a fast-growing firm with big ambitions to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. We are looking for a People Advisor to join RSM UK on a 12-month FTC in our Birmingham, Manchester, Preston, or Edinburgh offices.
As a key member of the people team, you will provide a commercial and premium people service to your stakeholder group, supporting various departments that work nationally across the UK. You will manage the service delivery and support all elements of the employee experience, from joining RSM to leaving, and everything in between.
You will work closely with the Senior People Advisor and People Advisory Manager to strategically support your service line and area of the business, working on engagement, sense of belonging, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the National People Team function.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice to the business on the application of all RSM policies and procedures
- Providing support and guidance to key stakeholders, department heads, and line managers
- Providing expert advice and guidance to partners and managers on employee relations activities
- Supporting the business with the annual bonus and salary review processes
- Attending and managing appraisal moderation meetings
- Conducting exit interviews for senior roles or in contentious situations
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a People Advisor, significant experience in performance management and capability processes, and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
