We are excited to recruit a Tax Valuations Manager in our Employer Solutions team. Working with a strong national team, you will have the flexibility to choose the office that best suits you.

The role involves leading on the needs of a diverse range of clients in providing tax valuation advice. You'll have significant client contact and provide leadership to more junior colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their tax valuation needs.
  • Leading on the preparation of, and reviewing, share valuations for tax purposes including for tax‐advantaged share plans, other awards of employment‐related securities, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and corporation tax transactions.
  • Designing and implementing valuation models for complex equity structures including private‐equity backed companies and growth share structures.
  • Continuing to build strong capability within our team, recognising and responding to strengths of individuals and client requirements.
  • Working alongside our RSM colleagues from across the world to provide advice on international share incentive structures.
  • Briefing junior staff on the client's business and the pre‐project instructions, supervising and controlling the completion of work, and undertaking 'on‐the‐job' training and appraisals where necessary.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in a tax valuation role at a leading accountancy, law, or consulting firm.
  • Relevant professional qualification, for example, ATT, CTA, ACA, or Solicitor.
  • Proven experience in client handling and project management.
  • Experience in producing exceptional quality work for demanding clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
