The International Assurance Services team are looking for a Senior Consultant with specific experience of internal audit, to join the team working on a range of clients including UK and international governments, donors, public sector bodies, charities and INGOs. Being a team player, by having a ‘can do’ attitude and being able to understand that the best solutions come from collaboration, exchanges of ideas and resilience. Successfully conducting assignments internationally, whilst being prepared to work away from home occasionally (approx. 10% of the time). Working with our public‑sector and not‑for‑profit clients both in the UK and overseas. Our work is diverse, so you need to be adaptable, proactive and a self‑starter. You could be seconded to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash transfer programme for both economically challenged countries/states or economically strong nations.

- IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA etc.)
- Fluent and able to conduct assignments in a second language preferably French.
- Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.
- Robust, post‑qualification experience.
- Level 7 education, ideally a master’s degree.
- Experience of internal audit is essential in the UN or central government/public sector.
- Experience of fraud/procurement/donor grants/financial systems.
- Experience working in/with the international not‑for‑profit sectors.
- Able to undertake overseas travel (around 2–3 trips a year).
- Experience of institutional grant budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
