We are seeking an experienced Bid Designer (Mid to Senior Level) to join our Creative Team and lead on creative with our dynamic Bid Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and persuasive design solutions for bids, tenders, and proposals. The world of bids often involves fast turnarounds and evolving content, so you'll thrive if you enjoy pace, problem solving, and collaborating closely under time constraints and deadlines. This is a new role, so it is a great opportunity for you to play a pivotal part in evolving the visual narrative of RSM's submissions, ensuring our content stands out and resonates with prospective clients.

Reporting to our Design Manager, you will be working closely with our Bid Team and will be expected to coordinate a wide variety of bid and proposal design projects across the business, delivering within the framework of the global visual identity system, co-branded or prospect/client branded bid opportunities. This is a varied role and you will have developed great skills already in managing projects across numerous stakeholders, with strong communication skills to proactively keep everything on track.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading the graphic design and layout of high-impact bid documents, presentations, and supporting materials in line with RSM's brand and visual identity.
  • Working collaboratively with bid managers, writers, and subject matter experts to transform technical content into engaging, accessible, and visually compelling documents.
  • Designing and delivering exceptional PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate key messages and differentiators for RSM UK.
  • Developing innovative data visualisations, infographics, and diagrams to simplify complex information and enhance storytelling.
  • Ensuring all bid materials adhere to the latest design trends and best practices, maintaining a fresh and contemporary approach.
  • Championing the RSM story throughout the bid process by ensuring the narrative is powerfully expressed through a coherent visual language to maximise win potential.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, often to tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards of creativity and accuracy.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of bid design templates, processes, and tools to increase efficiency and impact.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of four years' experience in a bid/proposal design role or similar, ideally within professional services, consultancy, or a comparable environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of bid processes, proposal content development, and the role of design in persuasive communication.
  • Exceptional graphic design and layout skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through design.
  • Proven ability to create compelling data visualisations and infographics tailored to varied audiences.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, with the ability to translate them into practical and impactful bid materials.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and deliver quality work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative approach.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a range of bid/proposal design work is essential.
  • A degree or professional qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in supporting major, high-value bids within a professional services environment is highly desirable.
  • Additionally, experience with Foleon, motion graphics or animation skills would be considered an advantage.
