We are currently seeking a Payroll Executive to join our team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a hybrid working capacity. You will make an impact by:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements.
  • Servicing multiple clients as part of a team effort to deliver excellent service to our clients by actively engaging in Client Surveys, KAM and internal audits.
  • Contributing to your team's growth by actively seeking new opportunities with your client base including HR services, People Manager and Hot Topic Items.
  • Ensuring you have up to date knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations by attending in-house training courses.
  • Generating payroll reports, P45s etc., using our in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI.
  • Managing client billing.
  • Completing any other ad-hoc duties as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Practical experience of payroll calculations, deadlines & knowledge of UK legislation requirements.
  • Strong numerical abilities & proven experience in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Passion for excellent customer service and maintaining quality relationships.
  • Knowledge of month-end & year-end returns.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with individuals at all levels.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills, ensuring stringent deadlines are met.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
