We are searching for an experienced FP&A Assistant Make an Impact at RSM UK This is an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Finance team as part of the internal National Finance Office of RSM UK. Our FP&A team acts as the analytical engine of the company to support optimal business decision making. The role will involve exposure to complex Excel models and Power BI, and so whilst on-the-job training will be fully provided, we are looking for an individual with a strong technical mindset. In this role, you will support the creation and continual development of RSM UK’s management reporting, annual budgeting process, month-end reporting cycle, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required by our leadership teams. You’ll make an impact by: Undertaking research review and analysis with a view to identifying opportunities to improve the effective and efficient delivery of Management Information and work with others to achieve changes Developing a thorough understanding of the business and its internal finance reporting systems and methodologies Applying business understanding to enable improved operational performance through the production of meaningful and accurate information and reports Looking for areas of consistency and best practice in the production and use of management information Developing an understanding of the firm\’s culture and strategy and how change is achieved Building excellent working relationships, particularly with other members of the Commercial Finance team What we are looking for: We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: A-Level or equivalent qualifications, including GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, or some equivalent accountancy qualification or experience IT proficiency with strong MS Excel skills desirable Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Effective in managing expectations, ensuring line management is kept informed of workload Ability to take full ownership of tasks, ask for clarification when required, and suggest process improvements Contribute positively to the team culture Prioritize workload effectively What we can offer you: We recognize that our people are our most important assets.
