Make an Impact at RSM UK

We are seeking a proactive and experienced early careers professional to join our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team on a 12-month FTC to manage our early careers post offer engagement. Focused on early careers preboarding, you will lead on designing and delivering a candidate first approach from offer through to their first day at RSM. You will work with a wide range of key internal stakeholders to deliver the RSM early careers recruitment strategy, ensuring an excellent experience to all involved within the hiring process including internal stakeholders and external hires.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, undertaking multiple tasks and balancing several key priorities with varying deadlines. The variety of queries and projects will challenge you every day, helping you expand your capabilities and grow professionally.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading the national end-to-end preboarding engagement strategy for student joiners, building excitement and understanding of their roles to reduce offer reneges.
  • Planning and delivering preboarding events, videos, webinars, LinkedIn groups and call campaigns to build understanding of RSM and each student’s line of business, and foster peer connections.
  • Designing, delivering and continuously improving an engaging national student communications plan from contract acceptance to day one.
  • Partnering with service line stakeholders to allocate line managers and buddies, and design and facilitate guidance and activities that build meaningful connections before joining.
  • Collaborating with Early Careers Talent Development, People Operations and other internal teams to deliver timely, accurate and coordinating pre-joining, study and training communications to new hires and internal stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Marketing to deliver consistent, high-quality and engaging campaigns.
  • Confidently delivering preboarding and induction sessions for new hires and internal stakeholders, and train and equip the wider Early Careers Talent Acquisition team to support delivery.
  • Coordinating and delivering A Level results day activity for school leaver hires.
  • Measuring preboarding effectiveness and leading regular, data-driven reviews, recommending improvements and efficiencies.
  • Acting as a key contact for incoming students and the business, resolving queries, connecting individuals with relevant stakeholders and serving as the first point of contact for offer reneges.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date ATS and other records for real-time early careers and business reporting, ensuring you and your team use available technology effectively to record candidate communications and key actions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to travel to other national RSM offices and attend external events (including occasional evening events) as part of this role throughout the year.
  • Proven experience in high-volume early careers recruitment and managing early careers onboarding.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the evolving early careers market.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and present data-driven insights, alongside the ability to implement engaging communication plans and innovative approaches.
  • Experience managing a small team, coaching colleagues and supporting their professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse internal and external audiences and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to balance competing tasks and priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization and time management, and the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • A positive, adaptable mindset, embracing change, new ways of working and continuous process improvement.

What we can offer you:

  • Hybrid and Flexible working.
  • 25 Days Holiday (with the option of purchasing additional days).
  • Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP.
  • Access to a suite of 300+ courses on demand developed by our inhouse Talent Development team.
