Make an Impact at RSM UK
The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is an independent department responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively, ensuring compliance with external regulations and standards, and internal procedures.
The successful candidate will work with the Quality Assurance Associate Director and other managers in the team to deliver a programme of assurance activities to support the Consulting business and the wider firm. The role will require you to communicate with a wide range of individuals within QAD, the business, and other support departments.
We operate a flexible hybrid-working model in the team, focusing on being where we can most effectively provide support to the service lines, which can occasionally involve travel to other UK-based offices.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Completing Consulting reviews with focus on our Risk & Governance, Forensic and Business Transformation solutions
- Supporting other QA reviewers with completion of reviews of other solutions, where necessary
- Completing other QA reviews and activities within Consulting as needed to provide required assurance to the Consulting business and wider firm
- Identifying and delivering feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in quality, compliance and risk management
- Working with the Quality Assurance Associate Director and other QAD team members to identify and implement changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
What we are looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIA qualification (or can demonstrate qualified by experience)
- Internal Audit experience or Technical experience within the Risk & Governance, Forensic or Business Transformation solutions
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and understandable manner
- Ability to perform analytical based testing and be able to adapt review approaches relevant to RSM and Consulting specific risks
- A challenging and sceptical mindset coupled with a high attention to detail
