Digital isn’t just a skill. It’s how you change what’s next.

You want more than a job in tech. You want to work on the challenges that define our future:

  • How can AI make healthcare more accessible?
  • How do we use data to tackle climate change?
  • How do businesses stay human while going fully digital?

From generative AI to cloud platforms and automation, digital is no longer just part of the economy, it is the economy and every organisation is asking the same big questions: how do we keep up, how do we stay secure, how do we lead?

At RSM Consulting, we help clients answer those questions. As a graduate in our Digital Consulting Programme, you’ll work on projects that matter: helping businesses become stronger, smarter and more future-ready, not just through digital, but through the way people understand, use and lead with it.

We’re on a mission to become the UK’s leading AI-powered consulting firm. And we’re looking for digital thinkers who are ready to step in and lead the way.

What is the Early Digital Careers Graduate Programme?

It’s your opportunity to not only build digital expertise, but to apply it with purpose on real projects, with real clients and with real responsibility from day one.

Internally, we’re not just embracing digital. We’re leading with it. And with our new AI Lab, launched in partnership with Intellixcore, we’re exploring how to embed cutting-edge generative AI into how we work, responsibly, securely and with impact.

Where could you start?

You’ll join one of our core digitally-focused teams, helping businesses unlock new value using digital tools, platforms and strategies. Each team offers a unique route into high-impact, tech-enabled work.

  • Business Transformation – Work with clients to rethink their operations and processes using data, technology, and digital strategy — from cost optimisation to digital enablement and growth.
  • Consulting Digital – Build and scale tools, drive digital delivery across service lines, and be part of the firm’s digital innovation engine — making us faster, smarter and future-ready.
  • Finance Function Support (FFS) – Use data analytics and automation to help clients streamline financial processes, drive efficiencies and gain new insights.
  • Risk and Governance – Support clients in understanding and managing risk using digital tools and audit strategies, from cyber risk to operational resilience.
  • Technology Assurance – Work across a global client base in sectors like pharma, automotive and tech. Gain certifications in areas like AI and IT audit while supporting clients with their most complex technology challenges.

Beyond digital – the consulting mindset

Digital consulting is about more than tools. It’s about people.

You’ll work closely with teams and clients to understand problems, explore possibilities and recommend solutions. Along the way, you’ll develop:

  • Project management and change leadership experience
  • Communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial awareness and cross-sector understanding
  • Strategic problem-solving techniques rooted in data and insight
  • And, crucially, you’ll learn how to use digital solutions to drive value in context

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for people who see what digital can do and want to be part of shaping how it’s done.

You might be:

  • Naturally analytical, always trying to get to the heart of the problem
  • Digitally curious, with a passion for emerging tech, AI, or automation
  • A relationship builder, collaborative, client-focused and great at listening
  • Organised and proactive, balancing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • A lifelong learner, open to new ideas, new tools and constant growth

You’ll need:

  • A predicted or achieved honours degree
  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
  • Or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level)

Please note: we don’t accept General Studies, AS levels or EPQs

The start date for this role is on 15 September 2026. Please note, our start dates are mandatory due to the internal and professional training you receive upon joining the firm, to offer you the best start to your career with us.

What you’ll get:

We offer more than just a job. This is the launchpad for your digital career.

  • A structured development pathway built around your goals
  • A recognised qualification — CIMA, CISA or relevant Digital Certs
  • Hands-on learning from experienced mentors and digital leaders
  • Exposure to client-facing work in high-impact industries
  • Ongoing digital upskilling, including access to our PowerUp AI series and Do It Digitally hub
