Overview
We are looking for an experienced audit manager to join our Quality Assurance Department (QAD), an independent team that provides assurance on key controls, compliance, and internal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a programme of audit assurance activities to support the audit business and the wider firm.
- Complete audit assurance reviews focused on financial services clients.
- Support other QA reviewers by providing guidance, reviewing work, and ensuring quality standards.
- Identify and deliver feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in audit quality.
- Implement changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of QAD.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Experienced manager with a strong background in financial services engagements.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards (audit regulatory experience preferred but not essential).
- Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex issues concisely.
- Capability to share new ideas and challenge current working methods appropriately.
