If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.

At RSM, our consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver our six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance. Our solutions address the needs, challenges, and opportunities our clients face as they strive to achieve their aspirations and organisational goals. Whether it’s supporting global expansion, developing acquisition strategies, facilitating private equity investments, or collaborating with boards to manage risk and governance, our consulting experts work as one cohesive team. We prioritise simplicity, providing data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to empower our clients in building sustainable, future-fit businesses.

It’s an exciting time to join our consulting team, whether in supporting internal project delivery or client-facing engagements, as we embark on ambitious growth plans that promise to create diverse career opportunities. We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join either our Operations, Programme and Change Management team within our growing Business Transformation Consulting practice, or Consulting Service Line team that supports our six core solutions driving forward internal project delivery.

Change happens in every organisation – new operating models, systems, new structures, new ways of working. Often transformations fail to achieve expected impact because change hasn’t been shaped, planned, or managed effectively, and people aren’t properly supported through it.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working closely with clients, establishing trust and credibility quickly to build effective relationships.
  • Being a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, understanding that the best solutions come from collaboration and exchange of ideas.
  • Being a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter, who is organised, proactive and inquisitive.
  • Supporting the delivery of transformation projects and demonstrating the value delivered to organisations.
  • Comfortably juggling multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for:

Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can spot inefficiencies in everyday life and are passionate about making improvements, this role is perfect for you! We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment, supporting multiple projects or workstreams.
  • Knowledge of either operating model design and transformation or change management principles, including stakeholder engagement and communication support.
  • Experience supporting or operating within a Project Management Office (PMO), including project planning, governance, reporting, and RAID management.
  • Ability to identify, consolidate and clearly communicate risks and issues within projects or programmes, escalating appropriately.
  • Experience supporting the planning and facilitation of workshops, including preparing materials, capturing requirements, identifying process gaps, documenting actions.
  • Strong academic record: preferably with a relevant or business-focused degree (such as finance, accounting, business management or data analytics).
  • Exposure to proposal development or bid support, including research, analysis, and content contribution.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional project teams, supporting stakeholder coordination and change delivery in complex environments.
  • Strong project delivery and coordination skills, with experience tracking plans, milestones, dependencies and progress.
  • Clear and confident written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present structured information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building effective working relationships with clients and internal teams, under senior guidance.
  • Team-oriented, able to work both collaboratively and independently, including in virtual teams.
  • Proactive, organised, and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate and operate in line with RSM’s core values of excellence, teamwork, integrity, respect, and stewardship.
  • Experience of coaching more junior team members.

Desirable:

  • Experience of different methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.

  • Hybrid working.
  • 26 Days Holiday (with the option of purchasing additional days).
  • Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP.
