We are looking for an Assistant to join our financial outsourcing reporting team in Milton Keynes. Working as a member of the outsourcing team, the role will involve a varied mixture of duties across multiple clients. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality outsourced service to our clients on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
- Assisting with reconciliation of bank accounts and clearing/matching payments in the system.
- Resolving internal and external queries relating to invoices and bank reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, etc.
- Liaising with clients professionally and dealing quickly and effectively with client queries, adding value wherever possible (technical problem solving).
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people.
- A good general standard of education, including English and Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivables process.
- Confident telephone and email manner.
- Effective organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge and experience of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
