The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

Being a team player, with a 'can do' attitude, understanding that the best solutions come from collaboration, exchanges of ideas and resilience. Successfully conducting assignments internationally, whilst being prepared to work away from home occasionally (approx. 10% of the time). Working with public-sector and not-for-profit clients both in the UK and overseas. The work is diverse, so you need to be adaptable, proactive and a self-starter. You could be seconded to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash transfer programme for both economically challenged countries/states or economically strong nations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assignments internationally with readiness to travel and stay away from home as required.
  • Collaborate with public-sector and not-for-profit clients in the UK and overseas; adapt to varying sectors and programmes.

What we are looking for / Qualifications

  • IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA, etc.).
  • Fluent and able to conduct assignments in a second language, preferably French.
  • Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.
  • Robust post-qualification experience.
  • Level 7 education, ideally a master's degree.
  • Experience of internal audit in the UN or central government/public sector.
  • Experience of fraud, procurement, donor grants, or financial systems.
  • Experience working in/with the international not-for-profit sectors.
  • Able to undertake overseas travel (around 2–3 trips a year).
  • Experience of institutional grant budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
