Responsibilities

  • Build strong capability within teams, recognising and responding to strengths of individuals and client requirements.
  • Motivate the team and ensure maximum efficiency of reward spend.
  • Provide advice on the tax treatment of a wide range of share plans during implementation and operation, and on transactions.
  • Implement share plan structures, including preparing the necessary legal documentation.
  • Advise on the valuation of shares for tax purposes.
  • Work alongside RSM colleagues from across the world to provide advice on international share incentive structures.
  • Brief junior staff on the client’s business and the pre-project instructions, supervise, and control the completion of work, and undertake 'on the job' training and appraisals where necessary.
  • Meet with clients to discuss their business and incentive needs, then work on the design of new employee incentive schemes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Share Plans / Reward team at a reputable accountancy, law, or consulting firm.
  • Relevant professional qualification, e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA, or Solicitor.
  • Proven experience in client handling and project management.
  • Experience in producing exceptional quality work for demanding clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
