Role Summary
Working as part of our wider Innovation and Capital Tax Reliefs team, you’ll discover a culture celebrating individuality, fresh thinking, flexibility and collaboration – while not only embracing change but impacting it. You’ll be an integral part of a high‑performing specialist team that is recognised by our clients and the wider firm as being at the cutting edge of our business.
Responsibilities
- Act as an expert advisor, guiding clients with their capital allowances affairs and supporting the wider business when matters arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ranging from owner‑managed businesses and middle‑market organisations to large multinational groups.
- Play a leading role in business development, proposals and targeting initiatives, contributing significantly to the overall future development and success of the specialist team, the local office, geographic region and the wider firm.
- Develop and support a growing team, being a mentor and sharing your skillset and knowledge.
- Build an external network of peers, maintaining an understanding of the breadth of the firm's capability and general business and economic factors relevant to our clients.
Qualifications
- RICS, ATT, ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Specialist experience in Capital Allowances.
- Ability to people‑manage, focusing on building and developing individuals while identifying existing talent within the team.
- Passion for business development and ability to identify potential fee‑earning opportunities.
- Commitment to the grow‑our‑own principle, with an ambition to coach, lead, develop and manage a team.
