We are searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to co‑lead the design, delivery, and ongoing development of RSM's Digital Upskilling Programme (Digital Skills 2.0), along with other critical firmwide talent initiatives on a fixed term contract basis. This role will play a key part in driving cultural and capability transformation across the organisation, ensuring that our people have the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Responsibilities
- Leading end-to-end project management for the firmwide Digital Upskilling Programme, ensuring timely, effective, and high-quality delivery.
- Overseeing the planning, scoping, and implementation of additional strategic talent initiatives as required.
- Developing and maintaining robust project plans, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms.
- Engaging and influencing senior leaders, business partners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and support for programme objectives.
- Managing expectations, competing demands, and interdependencies across multiple parts of the organisation.
- Facilitating clear, consistent communication across stakeholder groups to ensure transparency and engagement.
- Working with specialist learning provider(s) to bring external best practice and input to bear to drive our Digital Skills 2.0 initiative.
- Applying project management best practice to deliver measurable outcomes and organisational impact.
- Developing change management strategies and toolkits to support adoption, learning, and behavioural change.
- Identifying risks, issues, and barriers to progress, and proactively developing solutions.
- Ensuring all programmes are delivered to a high standard, meeting both strategic intent and business need.
- Leveraging data, insights, and feedback to refine programme design and drive continuous improvement.
- Staying current with emerging trends in digital skills, learning, and talent development.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience leading large-scale, high-impact learning projects or programmes within complex organisations.
- Proven ability to operate confidently at senior and executive levels.
- Strong project management expertise, including frameworks, methodologies, and toolkits.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- A track record of delivering change at pace while managing ambiguity and competing demands.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience working in professional services or partnership environments.
- Experience working with specialised third-party learning and skills providers in the digital skills space.
- Background in learning, talent development, digital transformation, or cultural change.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous.
- Collaborative, relationship-oriented, and trusted by senior stakeholders.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to deliver under pressure.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable navigating complexity.
