Make an Impact at RSM UK – External Audit
Join our audit team on a 12‑month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree. You will work alongside current trainees and experienced team members, receive on‑the‑job training, and access internal training courses to develop in the role. Exceptional performers may be offered a place in one of our graduate training programmes.
As a member of the audit team you will conduct a thorough, risk‑focused review of clients\’ financial records, processes, and controls, helping to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and building stakeholder trust.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Engaging in client work quickly and taking individual responsibility for projects.
- Working with a variety of clients, from owner‑managed businesses to large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not‑for‑profit organisations.

What we are looking for:
We value passion, personality and originality. To be considered, you should have:
- 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level).
- Enrollment on a placement degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine interest in business with organisational and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
RSM does not accept General Studies, AS Levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
