Audit Assistant β Graduate β Liverpool β January 2026
Make an impact at RSM UK β External Audit. This graduate programme provides the skills to thrive, support to unlock opportunities, and access to the latest technology to enhance your work. You will start studying towards your Chartered Accountant qualification immediately, with your first exams taken within the first few months. You will be supported every step of the way as a member of our audit team, conducting thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients\β financial records, processes, and controls to help ensure the accuracy of financial statements and build trust among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Becomes a key member of the team from day one, engaging in client work quickly as part of a larger team before taking on individual project responsibility.
- Work with a wide variety of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not-for-profit organisations.
- Conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clientsβ financial records, processes, and controls to support accurate financial statements.
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) with a completed or predicted honours degree.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients and to stay calm under pressure.
- A genuine interest in business and commerce with a commercial outlook and strong time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
