As the Cleaning & Laundry Manager, you will be the driving force behind high-quality, consistent, and innovative cleaning and laundry services across our Residential Care and Retirement Living sites. Youâll set the standards, shape best practice, and support teams across multiple sites to deliver services that enhance residents' wellbeing. Youâll also oversee outsourced providers ensuring strong performance, contract compliance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio. This is a strategic, influential role that blends operational leadership, governance, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration.
What you will be doing:
- Provide expert leadership for cleaning and laundry services across all RSL LifeCare sites, supporting Facility Managers and teams to deliver consistent, highâquality, and costâeffective outcomes.
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while partnering with key stakeholders to enhance resident wellbeing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain organisationâwide cleaning and laundry programs, procedures, workflows, and training resources that support operational excellence.
- Lead strategic improvement initiatives by identifying and introducing new technologies, equipment, and service models that lift quality, efficiency, and resident experience.
- Oversee governance by establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards that meet regulatory, infection control, and organisational requirements.
About You:
- Experience managing cleaning, environmental services, or support services across multiple sites or a large operational portfolio.
- Strong capability in developing and implementing operational standards, procedures, and service frameworks.
- Proven contract and supplier management experience, including KPI monitoring and performance oversight.
- The ability to analyse service performance and drive improvements across diverse locations.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with operational leaders to enhance service outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
